I Was A Fisherman - Kaltblut Magazine

“I Was A Fisherman” is a self-produced editorial for Kaltblut Magazine photographed & styled by me and created in collaboration with the model & Make-Up artist, Amilla Sadhra.

The viewer is taken on a journey in Edward’s past life through a hypnosis session guided by Amilla, the model. After a past life regression meditation done in 2016 and many encounters of déjà vu over the years, Edward pieces together with colours and textures the life he might have lived before as a fisherman. From being lured by the promise of a golden future to finding inevitable demise as a result of chasing it, Amilla narrates the final moments that Edward remembers before falling prey to the deep sea. The looks styled by Edward embody temptation through the form of a siren, hope taking the shape of a boat’s sails, nativity dressed as curiosity, and death revealing its mourning attire at the final moments that Edward remembers being filled with regret for leaving something or someone behind as he dies alone at sea.
